Well we did it! 45 songs on 2 different bandshells in 2 different towns in 4.5hrs! The schedule gods were on our side on July 1st, as was mother nature (for once!) as we completed our Canada Day Double Header. Our 5:30-7:15pm debut performance at the Cobourg WaterFront Festival was extremely well received, with a huge crowd of onlookers. Parents were out front dancing with their kids, the beer tent was shaking. We couldn’t seem them in their but they definitely made themselves heard with cheers and applause between songs. Even some minor technical problems didn’t slow us down! Thank you to all that attended, as well as to Sherri and all the Cobourg Kinsmen that made it possible. Thank you to Roy & Collin for giving us IMPECCABLE sound. Also special thanks to Mike Evans who put together this great souvenir of our performance of The Cars “LET’S GO!”.

With the help of an army of Kinsmen, we got the truck loaded and made it to the Port Hope Bandshell at 7:50pm. We got started at approximately 8:20pm and hit the ground running. The large audience just kept growing as the set went on and it was a thrill to have Mr. Charlie McFadden join us on stage for the 2nd year in a row:
As the night continued, a large group of teens took over the dance floor and danced to the songs of their parent’s generation much to our delight. Thank you for having us back Jeff Lees and the Port Hope Kinsmen, and to George and Stacy for making us sound good like you always do.
Thank you to Dave Vasey for photos of the Port Hope side of things. Visit our Photo Gallery to see more:
